Running season is here—and that means the Aquarium Run is back for its 16th season. Scheduled rain or shine on April 2nd, 2022, this premier race event will take place in-person, offering opportunities for runners of all ages to participate in a half marathon, 10K, 5K, and Fun Run. This year’s USATF sanctioned courses take runners through the City of Jenks and the Tulsa River Parks, offering exciting views of the city’s charms—a perfect way to kick-start your spring!
All runs start and finish at the Oklahoma Aquarium, and everyone who completes their race receives an exclusive 2022 Aquarium Run medal. All runners also receive a fun, complimentary swag bag, plus FREE admission to the aquarium on race day—so you and your family and friends can enjoy a full day of sea-life inspired fun before heading home.

One of Tulsa’s most popular race events for runners of all levels, the Oklahoma Aquarium Run not only creates an exciting way to warm up for the spring and summer’s running season—it’s also a great way to support one of the Tulsa Area’s top nonprofits, drawing 400,000 visitors annually to see and learn about aquatic life. When you sign up for the run, your race registration goes directly toward supporting the Oklahoma Aquarium's mission to educate and inspire conservation of our aquatic world through interactive discovery. Your donations make it possible for us to maintain and expand our exhibits, research, education, and conservation efforts.
