GUIDELINES AND PRICES FOR IN-PERSON FIELD TRIPS

Small groups with 5-20 students are eligible to visit for a self-guided field trip on any day, seven days a week, during regular business hours. 

Your visit date should allow you to request the trip with at least 2 weeks of advance notice. Make sure to provide even more notice if you need confirmation of your visit date before making travel arrangements or sending home permission slips.

Make sure you have enough chaperones. We require a 5:1 ratio for 2nd grade (7 years old) and younger and 10:1 for 3rd grade (8 years) and older. Required chaperones are admitted free and can be teachers, bus drivers, or parents). Any additional chaperones beyond the required amount will pay $15 (plus tax, if applicable), regardless of whether they are paying for their own admission or if they will be paid for by the group.

*PLEASE ALLOW UP TO TWO WEEKS TO RECEIVE EMAIL CONFIRMATION FROM OUR EDUCATION DEPARTMENT. GROUPS WHO DO NOT RECEIVE AN EMAIL CONFIRMATION ARE NOT ENTITLED TO FIELD TRIP RATES.
