Scouts, Youth Groups, and Nonprofits

Scout Days

In addition to group rates for field trip groups, we also offer Scout Days. On Scout Day, scouts and their families can visit the any time 10 a.m.-5 p.m. to receive discounted admission. Scouts and their families can also complete a complimentary scavenger hunt, purchase a Junior Marine Biologist patch, and receive 25% off a behind-the-scenes tour.

25% Off Behind-the-Scenes Tours

Scouts and their families can receive 25% off a behind-the-scenes tour! Behind-the-scenes tours visit our small and large animal quarantine buildings, where students will see a loggerhead sea turtle and juvenile bull sharks, and will learn about how we care for our animals and their tanks. The tour lasts 30 minutes. All participants must sign a waiver. Tour participants are not permitted to bring food, beverage, or strollers on the tour. This tour is wheelchair accessible; however, stairs are required for optimal viewing on some parts of the tour. Students aged 12 and under must participate with a parent/guardian present.

*COVID-19 Policy: We are continuously monitoring new information from the CDC and adhering to appropriate guidelines. As a result, the dates shown below are subject to change. We currently require all visitors to wear face coverings. The floor is marked to help guests monitor their social distancing and hand sanitizing stations are located throughout the aquarium.

You don’t have to visit with a school to enjoy a fun, educational outing at a discount! Any youth-based group who meets our field trip eligibility requirements is welcome to attend as a field trip group. By attending as a field trip group, you not only receive discounted admission and free chaperones, but you also gain access to educational programming. Our field trip programs include behind-the-scenes tours and special classes. Learn more about field trip eligibility and programming here.

Some groups, such as non-profits, may also be eligible to receive field trip funding through our Fish Friends Scholarship.
