The Oklahoma Aquarium is a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit education and research facility. We are grateful to our generous donors. Your gifts make it possible for general improvements and expansion. More specifically, you can help fund field trips and other educational opportunities for underprivileged youth through our Fish Friends Scholarship Fund.
Donations also pave the way for scientific research. Our biologists are actively engaged in several research projects, including an ongoing study utilizing our sharks. They’re testing the theory that regular handling and conditioning will reduce the stress response, and prolong the lives of sharks in captivity, greatly increasing even more research opportunities.
